Equal Access for All Users

Conteh-Brown & Co. is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to the widest possible audience, including individuals with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor disabilities. We work to meet or exceed the standards set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we align with the accessibility requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act — a standard relevant to our work in the federal and public sector contracting space.

Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time project. We review and improve this site on a continuous basis.

Conformance Level

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means some content does not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively addressing known gaps.

PDF documents including our Capability Statement are being reviewed and updated for screen-reader compatibility. Third-party forms (scheduling and intake tools) are subject to those platforms' own accessibility standards, which are outside our direct control.

Assistive Technologies

This website is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and access methods:

• Screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver (macOS and iOS)
• Keyboard-only navigation throughout all pages
• Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
• High-contrast display modes
• Voice control software including Dragon NaturallySpeaking

We test using Chrome and Firefox on both Windows and macOS environments. If you experience a barrier using a different browser or assistive technology, please contact us.

Areas Under Improvement

We are aware of the following limitations and are actively working to resolve them:

• Some older PDF files may not be fully tagged for screen reader access. Updated versions are being produced.
• Embedded third-party scheduling and intake forms may have accessibility limitations outside our control. We are evaluating alternatives.
• Some decorative images may lack optimal alternative text descriptions. A full audit is scheduled.

Federal Accessibility Alignment

As a firm serving federal, state, and local government clients, Conteh-Brown & Co. takes Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act seriously. Section 508 requires that federal agencies' electronic and information technology be accessible to people with disabilities. While this requirement applies directly to federal agencies, we apply the same standard to our own web presence as a matter of professional practice and in alignment with our government contracting work.

Our Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is available upon request for procurement purposes.
